My name is
Jessica Ritacco and I am from Webster MA, therefore I am a commuter at Nichols
College. During my time here I plan to double major in Hospitality Management,
then I plan to continue to specify my education to Hotel and Lodging management.
As a dream job I would eventually like to open my own Bed and Breakfast after I
gain some experience in the business and create some capital. While running my
own business I would like to be the head of my own marketing department, this
way I don't need as many employees and can save money and cut employee costs.
The
young entrepreneurs that I admire most from the “30 under 30” lists are
Jennifer Green and Misa Chien. The two young women found a serious lack in
oriental cuisine in the area that they live in and used that to tailor their
business to the people of Los Angeles. Their story is truly inspiring because
the women used their business sense and love for food to create a business that
is all of their own from the ground up. Since 2009 they have made significant
progress in the way of expansion and as the article reads continue to do so
even today. I myself aspire to open up my own business from the ground up once I
manage to create some capital to start. They had relatively the same dream as I
have. The fact that they decided to start a business at all makes me admire
them. When everyone begins a business they know that it is possible for them to
fail some people preserve and others let that feeling destroy them. Jennifer and Misa worked hard and clearly it
paid off. Most people are too scared to put themselves out there and allow the
chance that they may fail to enter their lives’ these two young ladies threw
aside the fear and jumped into the business world head first. That is truly
amazing courage, courage that I hope someday I can find and dive head first
into my dream career.

ReplyDeleteI totally agree with you on this article.I read this article and it was amazing how they both followed their dream to open their own business together. Their story is very inspiring to me with the fact when I am older I do want to own my own business for something I love to do too. Just like you want to do too. The best thing for anyone who wants to open their own business one day is to open a small one because some may fail but Jennifer and Misa did not. I believe that anyone can follow their dream as long as they set their mind to it!! But Jennifer and Misa is a very good example i totally agree with everything you said.
